The Boiling River Educational Content
How it started
In 2018, I joined the Boiling River Expedition Team for my first field season. I was not the first educator to join the team for a field season, and I will not be the last. What separates my story from the others, however, is that I have continued to return since 2018 to continue learning and creating learning materials for my own classroom and anyone who wants to add a little Boiling River to their content! I am the Education Lead for the Boiling River Project, and in this role, I continue to create educational content and mentor other educators who join us for a field season. In fact, in 2025, I brought the first pre-service teacher to the Boiling River, and The Explorer's Club sent the first four Teacher Fellows for their inaugural program with our team!
